I chose Les Marronniers solely for its proximity to Calvados Pierre Huet, a place I had long wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the multilingual staff who made my stay even more enjoyable. The daily à la carte breakfast was a highlight, offering a delicious start to the day. I also appreciated the additional amenities, such as the barbecue grills and the proximity to Manoir de Grandouet.

We were delighted with the magical discovery of this stunning B&B location, surrounded by lovely countryside along winding lanes. The hostess was simply amazing, going out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect, from recommending the best places to visit to telephoning on our behalf to make reservations. The breakfast area was relaxing and peaceful, with a TV to watch sports events. The homemade yogurt, apple cake, and apple juice were delicious.
The breakfast situation was slightly confusing; we would have preferred more information about what we could choose. It was wasteful to see other guests leaving a bunch of food on their plates when we were limited to one or two options. Additionally, the back roads location was a bit far from restaurants and shops, but it did provide us with a quiet and peaceful environment.

Additionally, the option to use the breakfast area for our picnic dinner with a stunning view was a delightful extra.
